i think this is the longest time that i've ever never blog any post in the past few months.

i'm proud to say i've just finish a book that is really thumbs up.
which is "Pants on Fire"

people who hang out with me frequently past few weeks, knows that i'm reading this book.
it's a really nice book.

on the back of the book, the summary says,

"When Georgia Abbott walks out on her cheating fiance, she's left feeling as bleak as the London sky in February. Until someone tells her about a job on Glow magazine in Sydney. That's Sydney, Australia - where the welcome is as warm as the weather and the men look lik Mel Gibson, but taller. What's she got to lose.

So Georgia packs up and ship out Down Under. At first things seem promising, as she's swept up in a whirl of A-List parties, dancing and debauchery. But while Australian water may go down the plughole the other way, Australian men are - oh dear - staring to look all too familiar... "


okay, this summary indeed din't attract my attention and made me left the book there for quite some time, before i could actually sit down and have my own time to read it seriously.
but after reading, i love the ending.
THE ENDING IS OH MY DARLING.
people who likes parties should read.
ladies should read.
practically, EVERYONE SHOULD READ.

this is one part that i like,

"
'But i still don't understand. Why didn't you tell me any of
this before? You've never even asked for my own number and you've had so many opportunities.'

'Does it really matter?'

'Yes'

' Ok. At first I couldn't because you were sort of Billy's
squeeze, and then I wanted to but you'd seen me with another woman and i didn't want you to think I was some kind of playboy. Plus you were with that plonker fellow and I didn't think you were interested. And then i read an article in Glow called something like "Phone Torture". It was about agony for the men to call them - and I decided I was never going to do that to you.'

this is one part in the story that i like.
in this book, it talks about how Georgia getting into the A-list party.
the relationship with Debbie, Maxine, Liinda, Zoe, Antony(Dolores) and etc.
they share the same kind of bond.
the friendship that truly cares for one another.
Pants on Fire.
thumbs up.
Addictive and entertaining.
It manage to made me tear a drop of tears.
